Capacities of CycloJet VC High-Pressure Vacuum Units

CycloJet VC units operate with a blower and enable pneumatic conveying through vacuum.

In a dilute-phase pneumatic conveying system, a roots blower operating at 600 mbar line pressure with a 30 kW motor produces approximately 900 kg/hour of air (this is mass flow, not volumetric flow, so it is not m³/hour).

In such a system, with materials commonly used in cement and soil industry processes, an average of 5 kg of solid material can be transported per 1 kg of air. This corresponds to a capacity of 4,500 kg/hour under these conditions. This is achievable in pneumatic conveying systems with stable feeders.

In applications involving manual sweeping from the ground, stable feeding is not applicable; thus, the actual capacity may be at most half of the capacity of a standard pneumatic conveying system.

Various parameters, including material size, line length, and the number of bends, significantly impact the system’s capacity.
